Obituary of Isabel Dazé

DAZÉ, Isabel Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven with loved ones by her side on Saturday morning, March 15th, 2008. Margaret Isabel Dazé of Arnprior in her 98th year. Daughter of the late Charles Alexander Gilmour and the late Laura Ann Cuthbertson. Beloved wife of the late Tony Dazé (1990). Cherished mother of Marlyn Gatien (late Ray), Bob (Mary), Bill (Linda), Peter (Debbie), Susan Miller (Ellard) and Jane Vallentyne. Predeceased by a daughter, Ann Brisson and a son C.J. "Bud" Dazé. Special mother-in-law of Bob Brisson (Linda McAllister) and Bette Dazé. Dear sister of Jean Baker (late Bill) of Almonte Country Haven. Also predeceased by her only brother, Ken Gilmour and a grandson, Larry Gatien. Dearly loved and proud Nana of 22 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Isabel Dazé will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday morning, March 18th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Meg Illman-White of Grace St. Andrew's United Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. For those wishing, a donation made to the Almonte Country Haven would be most appreciated by the Dazé families.
