Obituary of Jack Banes

BANES, Jack (Korean War Veteran) July 4, 1928 - March 16, 2008 Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior with his family by his side on Sunday evening, March 16th, 2008. Donald Jack Banes of Arnprior at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Beverley June Offord. Dearly loved father of Donald (Janice) and Debbie Hodgins (Clarence). Cherished "Poppa" of Terry Hodgins, Donald, Justin and Tylin Banes. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Eileen Banes and his brother, Richard (Eileen of Wilno). Friends are invited to join us for an informal time of remembrance at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday evening, March 25th from 7 to 9 p.m. Jack's cremated remains will rest alongside those of his beloved Bev at the Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring Campaign" would be appreciated by his family.
