Obituary of John Hicke

HICKE, John "Jack" (Retired Plant Manager - BASF Canada) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior surrounded by his loving family on Sunday morning, April 6th, 2008. John Joseph Hicke of Arnprior at the age of 73 years. Dear son of Mrs. M.E. Nivens (late Bill) of Toronto. Beloved husband for almost 55 years of Lois (Nee Minard). Dearly loved father of Robert Hicke (Kelly Christopherson) and Sheryl Fishenden (Tom), both of Arnprior. Proud grandfather of Andrew and Amanda Fishenden; Erin and Matthew Hicke. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Interment will take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Jack, a donation made to the Arnprior Humane Society or one's favorite charity would be appreciated by his family.
