Barb/Tony & Bill/Laurie: Joan and I were recalling our Hawaiian holiday and right away we thought of David and how we found out about his passing. We felt so isolated being far away from you guys. Your decision to have the memorial service broadcasted on the web gave us some comfort in sharing our sorrow. We remember David as a happy innocent man who just wanted to please people. We will remember his contagious laugh. David's life was filled with love and sunshine thanks to the four of you. David is in our minds and hearts. When you see the stars in heaven at night - David is there - looking down with that crazy grin of his. Much love to all Joan and Emmet

David was an awesome friend. He made me laugh at Special Olympics and Community Living. His smile would just brighten up my day. You always knew when David was around. I will miss him so much, but he is now in a better place surrounded by Angels in God's Kingdom. He is an Angel now watching over us. Love you Barb and Tony. xoxo

Barb and Tony, I was so sad to hear of David's passing. He was never shy to return my greeting with a friendly hello and he made me smile when he did! I just looked at the picture of David and the gang from the Postma golf tournament last year and there was that big smile of his front and centre. I'm thinking of you and your family.

David was that friend in a million, always with a friendly smile and an offer to help others whenever he was able to be of assistance. I always remember when his uncle Joe would ask him how he felt he would reply "fantastic", well now he is in Gods hands with "Mr. Fantastic" may they live together forever. Rest in Peace Nephew Dave, Uncle Doug.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt sympathies. David was a wonderful person who brought so much joy to the lives of those around him. I will always remember him as a dear friend to Harris-- the two of them standing side by side, inseparable at swim meets, teasing each other and loving each other's company. I know Harris will miss David's friendship deeply. I will also miss him- his shy hello and mischievous presence always brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. I wish you all my very best, strength, love and courage in the coming days.
