Obituary of Emily Rathier

RATHIER, Emily (nee Thibeault) (April 4, 1922 - March 1, 2014) Peacefully at the Arnprior Hospital on Saturday, March 1st, 2014. Emily Rathier of Arnprior; formerly of Mattawa at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Hector Rathier (December 8, 1996). Dearly loved and devoted mother of Lilianne Larocque (late Jean-Marc) of Mattawa; Robert Rathier (Brenda) of Manitoulin Island; Agathe Séguin (Emile) of Dowling, Ontario; Linda Kilby (Richard) of Ashton; Hector Rathier (Elizabeth) of Mattawa; André Rathier (Liz) of Pembroke; Michel Rathier of Ottawa and Jacques Rathier of Arnprior. Loved sister of Adèle Lavoie (late Richard) and Claudette Pellerin (Lionel), both of Chelmsford. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Moïse and John Thibeault as well as 2 sisters: Bertha Brunette and Claire Rivet. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in Ste. Anne's Church, 241 Second Street, Mattawa on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at 11 o'clock. Spring interment Parish Cemetery. In memory of Emily, a donation to the Partners in Caring Foundation of the Arnprior Hospital would be appreciated by her family and made be made through the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
