We met many years ago at the Pine Grove APts we used to sit outside you with baby Leslie me with baby Rachelle we spent many an afternoon talking and discussing our children you had such an upbeat attitude and great smile years later we met as members of the Arnprior Golf Course you had become such an amazing person and never took your golf seriously always quick with the wit and laugh and you could turn a bad game into something to laugh about, play on my friend in heaven and don't forget a glass of wine at the 19th hole. My condolences to Leslie Tyler and familes always keep her memories close to your heart. Janet Sabourin & Rick McCabe

Memories of working with you at Boeing my friend. You were always laughing! You were the heart of Human Resources at Boeing and I was privileged to have worked with you. I remember your sway too, as Dude mentioned, back and forth while we stood outside for a smoke with Allie. You will surely be missed by your beautiful children and many friends.

Share a story...could write a book!! What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but I will say...took her out of the country twice and both times was afraid we wouldn't get back in!!
Anybody that was her friend knew that sway she did...side to side...you knew something was cooking! Loved her for that.
Laurie and I always bantered about how great our kids are, how perfect our grandkids are and how wonderful our families are...well hats off to you Laurie, your words came to life!!
What I have seen in the past few weeks of your family "IS" wonderful. The love, respect and admiration for you was heartbreaking! You obviously did eveything right in your short 60 years of life. It's not fair they lost you.
I just have to say for the last time, since you always get there FIRST "Save me a seat and we'll split a carafe of wine, OK?"
Already missing you...watch over me and hold me up, even if it's only by one leg (refer to picture)
Love ya, DooDoo (and only Laurie can call me that because as I pointed out to her... really...that is something a bird does on your windshield)

I had the pleasure of playing golf and cards with Laurie over the years, which provided me with the most enjoyable memories. Laurie's twinkling eyes and brilliant smile will always be etched in my mind. But most importantly Laurie had a special gift and that was to make others laugh, There wasn't a time spent together that we didn't laugh and many times we would laugh until we snorted, which would only make us laugh more. Thank you Laurie for all the special moments and memories you leave behind. As you Journey home may your eyes once again twinklle, may your brilliant smile return and may you spend an eternity laughing once again.. You were a gift to know... Love Sherrie

Laurie and I have been sisters for more than 40 years. We were apart for many of those years due to family obligations, work and leisure however when we reunited it meant the world to me and she made me feel it was the same for her. To help celebrate this special occasion we planned and enjoyed a beautiful triip out to Vancouver to also meet up with our old roommate Fran of way back when and it was no disappointtment. We included golf on this trip of course and shopping. Amongst the many luncheons we enjoyed, celebrating the cousin reunions with our children, Billy's 60th with no other than Elvis himself as a special guest, bowling 7 months pregnant, playing ball for the same team, the many card games we mostly won against her brothers and sister, standing in each others weddings, playing ball, both working in Ottawa and roommates, the stories could go on for pages. The one thing that is biggest in my heart is that her leaving hurts and leaves a big hole in my hearr. May God bless your christian soul Laurie you earned and deserve it. I miss you Laurie her very much and always will. Farewell sister, I am so sorry you had to leave so soon. Love Cath xxoo

I met Laurie at Boeing many, many years ago. We quickly grew to be good friends and bingo buddies. One would always knew when Laurie was near when you heard that distinctive, infectious laugh. I moved away from the Arnprior area 19 years ago but every time Laurie saw my parents, she would ask how I was. I have very fond memories of Laurie and will miss her dearly. God Bless you girl.
