Obituary of Greg Shean

SHEAN, Greg Peacefully at Central West Hospice in Ottawa on Saturday morning, April 26th, 2014. Gregory George Shean; formerly of Arnprior passed away with loved ones at his side. He was 54 years young. Dear son of Ellen Shean-Leclaire (Rodney) of Renfrew. Predeceased by his father, Charles Shean. Beloved husband, partner and best friend of Debra (nee Stevens). Dearly loved "Dad" of Angie Shean (Rob Villeneuve) and Christy Shean and "Adopted Father" of Justin DaSilva, all of Ottawa. Cherished and vey proud "Poppy" of Kaylie, Justice and Jesse. Dear brother of Charlie Shean of Renfrew; Aggie Wright (Guido Wuehr) of Cobden; Margaret Shean (Jesse Billyard), Clarence Shean (Amanda Fraser), both of Renfrew; Cathy Shean (Dave Gagnon) of Pembroke; Mildred Shean (Earl Anderson) and Gordon Shean, both of Renfrew. Predeceased by a brother, Eddie Shean. Special son-in-law of Everett and Hazel Stevens of Arnprior and brother-in-law of David Stevens (Patricia) of Renfrew; Donna Hisko (Bill Kirby), Doug Stevens (Kim Mitchell) and Duane Stevens (Jayne), all of Arnprior. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Greg with his family during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. A Service to celebrate and honour Greg Shean will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning, May 1st at 11 o'clock. Cremation will take place. In memory of Greg, a donation to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, 110 McCurdy Drive, Kanata K2L 2Z6 would be appreciated by his family.
