Obituary of Donald Cox

COX, Donald "Don" (Retired Independent Insurance Adjuster) Peacefully at the Arnprior Hospital on Sunday morning, April 27th, 2014. Donald Frederick "Don" Cox of Arnprior; formerly of Calabogie and Ottawa passed away at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Carole (formerly Allen). Dearly loved father of Brian Cox (Angie Blondin) of Vars, Ontario; Maureen Lees (John Franklin) of Manotick Station and Wayne Cox (Kathleen Ruhland) of Kingston. Respected step-father of Barry Allen (Heather) of North Vancouver; Matthew Allen (Clare) of Oakville and the late Michael Allen (Frances of Ottawa). Loved grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Dear brother of Tom Cox (Norma) of Syracuse, N.Y. Predeceased by a brother, Barry (late Barb). Former husband of Eleanor Cox of Ottawa. Don will be lovingly remembered by his cousin, Gerry Delisle (Sheila) of Mountainview, California as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday evening, May 1st from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. and where a Funeral Liturgy will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. Cremation will take place. In memory of Don, a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
