Russ was a one in a million kind of guy. As many of you who knew him he was a real out doors man. He fished he hiked he just loved the outdoors. But he was so much more than just an out doors man. He was a mans man, he got along with a LOT of people, you coulnd't not like Russ. He was just to nice of a guy. Most of all he was a family man, he was always there for a shoulder to cry on, there to lend a helping hand to any one who needed it. Just ask his any of his family or friends. I feel richer in life just having the privelege of knowing him. Russ you will be deeply missed in the community and the world. You treated me like your grandson and I considered you a grandfather, I will miss you alot but I know our paths will cross again someday. I don't think we will ever see another Russ "Alban".

Hello my name is Kayla, Russ was my step grandfather but I cosidered him one of my grandpa's. I loved him very much. I wish that he hadn't left but it may have been better. I wish that I had known him alot longer than I had. I will never ever forget him. His spirit lives in all of us. He will never ever be forgotten, with his playful teasing, his lovingness for all people and animals. I will never ever foget you Russ.

I want all of you to know that my thoughts have been with you every moment since Russ' death. From what I have heard from the kids, he was an amazing man. I will be forever grateful to him for treating Kyle and Kayla as if they were his own. They will forever remember him as a loving 'Grandfather'. Judy

Dear Jude and family, Sean and I wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences to you all. I'm sure Russ' passing has been a great loss for everyone who had the good fortune to know him. His enthusiasm for life and his quiet 'take charge manner' will be the source of many reminicences that reflect these two of many sides. Devotion to family and a kind heart are two other traits I think of in connection with Russ. Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you. Catherine and Sean
