Obituary of Marie Carter

Carter, Marie Lyn, P.Eng. 1961-2014 Marie died peacefully on Sunday evening, June 29th. She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Robert Jennings. She will be sadly missed by her parents and step-parents, Eric Carter (Lynne) and Connie Reitsma (Gerrit), her step-children Keaghan, Nathan and Hannah, her sisters Susan Carter (Jean-Paul Trudel), Wendy Overton (Cam), Erica McIntyre (Herb), her brother Randy Reitsma (Alice Seal) and her nieces, Jennifer, Melissa, Ashley and Maya. Marie lived her life to the fullest. Her passions were working with horses, coaching horseback riding and the engineering profession where she enjoyed working with the many engineers who give their time to the profession. The family will receive friends at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday July 3rd. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice are appreciated.
