Dear Cannon Family & Ms. Havey, I was sorry to learn of your loss while attending the Helicopter Association International convention in California last week. Mr. Cannon's name came up in several conversations I had with longtime helicopter industry pioneers attending the show. I was fortunate enough to interview Mr. Cannon on his helicopter industry career during a visit to his home in May 2002 for a book I am researching on Canada's Helicopter Industry pioneers in which I hope to profile Mr. Cannon's interesting career. If interested, I'd be happy to provide your family with a copy of my video tape interview with Mr. Cannon. In turn, I would like to copy any articles or records that highlight his aviation career. Yours sincerely, Kenneth Swartz Helicopter Industry Historian 522-1054 Centre Street Thornhill, Ontario L4J 8E5 kswartz@sympatico.ca tel. 416-836-7094
