Dear Nancy's Family, we were deeply saddened to hear of Nancy's sudden passing. As I have sat here for last few day's staring at Nancy's picture, memories of seeing her all the time around town as we were growing up come to mind. She always seemed to treat me in a different way for some reason, a good way and as I got older I realized why.During the late 70`s and 80`s I came out West and didnt see her much but I know there was a few phone calls in those years.Then in the 90`s she was living in Chilliwack and I was able to see her again. I was trucking to the Coast lots so I visited her quite a few times, hours of talking,telling me things I wanted to know. One day I phoned her and ask if she would like to come for a short run to Hope as I was hauling a load of culvert to a BC Hydro generating station, she accepted, I know if I had of told her we were going to be pulled up the side of a mountain 6KM by a Cat and then have the Cat hold on to us as we went down she would have might have said NO,I pulled off the Freeway and the Cat was rite there,I jumped out to hook up and and when I got back in you can imagine what she said seeing the road going up, I remember my arm hurt abit, I believe she enjoyed it. I apologize for not attending yesterdays service and hope you all understand, I will miss just knowing Nan was there. Love and Prayers from my Family to Yours.
