Obituary of Jay Jordan

JORDAN, Jay Earl Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior surrounded by his loving family on Saturday morning, May 17th, 2008, his birthday. Beloved husband and best friend for 64 years of Gloria (Nee Donnelly). Dearly loved father of Terry (Mary Lynn) and Lynn Wilson (late Harry), all of Arnprior, Michael (Roxanne) of Brampton, Penny Lamendeau (John) and Peter, also of Arnprior and Valerie DeWolf (Peter) of Glasgow. Dear brother of Joe Jordan of Oakville, Audrey MacDonnell (late Roy) of Orleans and Fern Irwin (late Al) of New Liskeard. Predeceased by a brother, Arnold and three sisters; Vivian Jordan, Norma Pinkerton and Helen Jordan. Treasured "Pappy" of 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A service to celebrate the life of Jay will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Wednesday morning May 21st at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow in the Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Jay donations to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" Campaign would be appreciated by his family.
