Obituary of Maurice Bédard

BÉDARD, Maurice "Moe" Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior while surrounded by family in the early morning hours of Friday, May 23rd, 2008 following a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. Maurice Joseph Bédard of Arnprior; formerly of Sudbury at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Colette (Nee Royer). Dearly loved father of Rick of Sudbury; Deanne Lemieux (Gary) of Arnprior and Norm (Joanne) of Sudbury. Dear brother of D'Arcy Bédard and Jeannine Riopelle, both of Sudbury. Predeceased by a brother, Armand Bédard and 3 sisters: Rita L'Abbé, Yvette Martel and Florence Bédard. Cherished "Pépère" of Jessica, Crystal, Trevor, Tayler, Ryan (Katie) and Lindsay. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Monday. A Service to celebrate the life of Maurice Bédard will be conducted in Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, 116 Baskin Drive West, Arnprior on Monday morning, May 26th at 11 o'clock. Pastor Clark Young officiating. In memory of Moe, a donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
