We are saddened to hear of Nell's passing. She was a dear neighbour and friend in Sand Bay for many years. We live right across the street from Nell's former home in Sand Bay. Although we are retired now, when we first moved in we would come up on Friday night's in the winter and our lane was shoveled. This went on for a few weeks. I started asking around who the kind person was. Not thinking it was our dear neighbour well up in her 70s. Finally Nell came forth and said it was her. She said 'As long as I am able, you will not come up from work on a Friday night and have to start shoveling to get in your laneway'.... That is how kind Nell was to us all the time we were neighbours. I am sure God has a special place reserved for this lovely person. Rest peacefully dear friend....We still miss you even though you have been in Armprior several years. With love, Randy and Francine

My sincere condolences in the loss of Ellen. I worked with her at Soloways (my first job!) We found out we were distant cousins. She always called me Cuz. My Mom, Una Burton-Miller (parents were Wilson and Janey Burton) and Ellen were 1st cousins I believe. She was a huge help to me at Soloways. My parents are buried in Horton so I will visit Ellen as well.
