Obituary of Dorothy McCabe

McCABE, Dorothy (nee Hornidge) Peacefully at The Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew early Tuesday morning, June 3rd, 2008. Dorothy Mary McCabe formerly of Arnprior at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Richard and Loretta Hornidge. Beloved wife for over 61 years of the late Raymond "Ray" McCabe (November 21, 2003). Dearly loved mother of Rick (Janet Sabourin), Ed (Linda), Terry, Linda Chandler (James Hogan), all of Arnprior and Sheila Mawdsley (Bob) of Courtice. Cherished "Gramma" of Ian McKay, Cavan McCabe, Neil Mawdsley, Kyle Mawdsley, Sarah Chandler, Rachelle Sabourin and Peter Sabourin. Predeceased by her sister Lois Boucher and her brother Charles Hornidge. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10:45 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday, June 6th at 12 o'clock noon. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Dorothy, a donation made to The Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew or the St. John Chrysostom Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by her family.
