My condolences to your family. Leo was a wonderful person and always had a smile for every person that he safely got across the street. The kids thought he was the best crossing guard and my kids made me park away from the school just so we could say "hello". Rest in peace Leo.

My heart felt condolences to Leo's family. Leo was a fine man to work with! I was fortunate to have Leo train me as a crossing gaurd. He took pride in his job helping the kids. Always greetings and a sincere smile. Made lots of kids smile each day. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to have known him. Thanks for all your help Leo. I will miss your daily drive through :) Rest in Peace.

Knew Leo years ago and worked with him at the Newburn Hotel, best and friendliest bartender in the business Leo was a great guy who put up with no nonsense from his patrons, would give you the shirt off his back or kick u to the curb if needed. Hope your up there now with your beloved Ruth and your Newburn sidekick Brian Burnette. Rest in peace Leo. Janet and Rick

My kids summed it up best when they said "I'm sad! He was the best crossing guard we ever had!". Leo always had a smile and a friendly word for everyone every morning and afternoon. Our quick chats as I dropped the kids off were a great start to the day. He is missed! Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. From Carter, Evan, Owen, Laura and Chris Tromp.
