Obituary of Lester Savard

SAVARD, Lester "Les" (Retired Pioneer- Bell Canada) Peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with loved ones by his side on Thursday evening, October 2, 2014. Lester Martin Daniel Savard of Arnprior passed away at the age of 88 years. Dear son of the late Joseph Savard and the late Lilly Neuman. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Jones) of Carleton Place. Dear step-father of Terry Mouland (Kate) of Australia and Brenda Davidson of Carleton Place. Step-grandfather of Andrew Mouland and Tracey Bosanke. Predeceased by a stepson, Christopher. Loved brother of Catherine Patrois (late George) of Arnprior. Predeceased by 2 sisters: Jean Garrow and Frances Vardy (formerly Mick) as well as his only brother, Nick Savard (late Hazel). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday afternoon, October 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. and again on Monday morning, October 6th from 10 a.m. until the time of Service in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Les, a donation to the Partners in Caring Foundation of the Arnprior Hospital would be appreciated.
