Whenever "Douglas" would pack the car with his Belleville family and take us to Arnprior, we would land on 3rd Street to see Aunt Peggy and Uncle Morris.....my cousins would make room and party would begin. (Never did ever, ever enjoy "Labatt 50 ale"....the Quebec beer was sooooo much better). We (cousins) would walk the streets hitting A&W and the chip wagon...and end up back sitting over at Carol's...too be sure we could always find beer (and the good stuff) that Brian had around...Carol would give a little look, laugh and shake of her head at us....then shoo us back to Pegs. Nothing but strong visual memories of a loving, caring and supportive soul was the Carol I remember...along with a great guy Brian beside her.
I truly will miss her presence in this world. We were blessed to have known her and having such a great lady, person full of life and spirit amongst us. Taken way too soon from us. Hugs to the family and may all the memories help wtih the times ahead. I'm always sorry for the distance apart from "good people" and "family".....the old and new memories are always treasured.

Dear Brian, Tracy, Michael.... Nora, Jack, Harris, Butch, Alana and Heather; Joel and I are so sorry for the heartbreaking time you have to endure right now. We are there with you in spirit, wishing we could be there in body - to supply lots of hugs and comfort. Please know how much you are loved and that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We really tried to arrange a way to come to the Prior but it wasn't to be. Not right now. We hope the near future will allow it. Carol took over where Aunt Peg left off. My heart sank when Tom's phone rang Monday night and he said it was Mike calling. Our visit with Carol last week will be a cherished memory for us. She had to make sure we each ate a piece of chocolate and gave the biggest hugs when we were leaving! What a special lady she was and will always have a special place in our hearts!
