Obituary of Leonard Chapeski

CHAPESKI, Len (Len Chapeski Contracting) Suddenly but very peacefully at McNab/Braeside on Wednesday afternoon, November 19th, 2014; Leonard Gerard "Len" Chapeski of McNab/Braeside passed away at the wheel of his snow plow; he was 59. Dear son of the late Leonard Chapeski and the late Dorena Neville and stepson of Shirley Chapeski of Douglas. Beloved husband, partner and best friend of Bonnie (nee Vander Ploeg). Dearly loved and respected father of Laura-Lee Westman (Shane) of Constance Bay; Leonard (Melissa Case) of Renfrew; Angela Chapeski of North Bay; Paul (Kimberly Eaton) of Barrhaven and Daniel (Cassandra) of Borden, Ontario. Cherished and proud "Papa" of Johnathon, Marissa, Victoria, David, Riley and Hailey and "Great-Grampa" of Mason. Dear brother of Tim Chapeski (Joanne) and Janet Chapeski, both of Renfrew and Anne Chapeski (Ian Osborne) of Ottawa. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Mark, Anthony and David. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and acquaintances. The Chapeski family will receive friends at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday only from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment to take place in the Spring of 2015.
