My memoirs of Joyce were as a younge girl she was always so pretty compared to a lot of my Moms friends inside and out .
She always had time to listen to us all.
My Mom ( Guss Thompson ) and her shared a lovely frienship and I remember Mom always moved into her home to stay with her dog while she went to Austrialia to visit her son.
My daughter Paula also got to know Joyce and I have a picture of her with the dog in the pool.
All nice memories,God bless her as he takes her home to her beloved Les.

Deepest sympathies in the loss of your precious mom. I too, like most, remember your mom from when I was a child. She was always such a beautiful woman, who raised a lovely family. I deeply admired your mom. We've been missing her. Blessings to all.

Hi, I'm very sorry for your loss. Joyce was a great person whom I have fond memories of as she was my boss when I first started working at Dominion Stores Ltd. in Arnprior in June 1980. She trained me and was a very good leader and so dedicated to not only the employees but super friendships were made with customers too. I learned a lot from her and I later became the head-cashier at that location for 12 years. May God bring your family peace in your time of grieving.

To Chris and family...thinking of you at this difficult time. Joyce's smile has been in my memory since my early childhood, when I remember my grandfather would visit with her at the Dominion store and would go the back to weigh himself on Clarence's butcher's scale.. a bright light and smile that brought much joy to many. Always remembered.
