How sad I was to hear of Uncle Frank's passing away. The photo you have posted of his is wonderful and just how I remembered him, always smiling and happy. He was happy with his family, his work and is many, many hobbies. I was priviledged to have him drive me to my wedding in luxury and he also recorded it on film. I know he had a wonderful, full, long life and will be missed by many. My love to Aunt Kaye! Love Susan

Dear Kaye, Michael and Wayne, It was with sadness that we read about the death of your dear husband and father. My mother still lives on Green Circle and finds it difficult as she hears more and more about deaths of people who formed the close community on our special "Circle". Our 340 Green Circle house continues to be a hub of family activity, even though Dan, Sue and Lynn all live in Ontario. My husband and I live in Dorval but the others visit and there are plenty of grandchildren and great grandchildren around. No matter how many years go by, 256 Handfield will always be the Pilon house. We have memories of Frank being the official photographer at so many Dorval events. His candid photos chronicled decades of Dorval events and were such a source of enjoyment to us all. Saint Veronica Church certainly benefitted from his dedication to the parish. Green and Handfield memories are never complete without visions of the newest Ford parked in your driveway and in later years, Frank and Kaye walking around the Circle. Please know that we are thinking about all of you at this time and that those thoughts rekindled so many pleasant memories. Yes, Wayne, that includes our grade one courtship and you teaching me to ride a two wheeler! Also, a pretty fabulous talent show on Pilon property involving the famed Norris family and a whole cast of other Circle performers making their carport debut. My mother does have email dorismct@hottmail.com but asked me to write to all of you to express our sympathy. Fondly, Judy McTavish

I have wonderful memories of my dear Uncle Frank. When I was small, he always made me laugh. Aunt Kaye and Uncle Frank were very entertaining and they loved each other very much. When I got married, it was Uncle Frank who drove me and my dad to the church in a very fancy Ford luxury car. It was Aunt Kaye who made sure me and my train were perfect as I walked down the aisle. At the wedding, Uncle Frank was the MC, in addition to recording the entire wedding on film. The weddding movie is beautiful and I cherish it. I remember Uncle Frank holding my new born first born child. As he enjoyed holding my baby, Aunt Kaye worried the she might spit up on him. (She didn't) Uncle Frank was always happy and made everybody around him happy. Rest in peace, dear uncle. See you in my dreams.
