Obituary of Alice Acres

ACRES, Alice Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Saturday morning, July 19th, 2008. Alice Christina Acres (nee Campbell) of Arnprior at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Cedric Acres. Dearly loved mother of Colin Acres (Elizabeth) of Calgary, AB., Glenn (Ghislaine) of Kingston and Kay Dunthorne (Ken) of Winnipeg, MB. Dear sister of Stanley Campbell of RR#5, Renfrew. Predeceased by 2 sons, Lawrence (Joan Acres of Nepean) and Lloyd Acres, a brother, Leslie Campbell and a sister, Mae Wieland. Grandma of 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again Wednesday morning from 10 until 10:45a.m. A Service of Thanksgiving for Alice's life will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow with interment in the North Horton Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" Campaign or the Seniors Home Support would be appreciated by the family.
