Obituary of Janice Sears

SEARS, Janice (Retired PSP, Arnprior) Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Friday morning, October 14th, 2011. Janice Marie Sears of Arnprior at the age of 72 years. Beloved daughter of the late Prosper Dagenais and the late Laurina Derouin. Dearly loved mother of Rick of Otter Lake, Quebec; Harold (Terry) of Waba and Mary-Lynn Blais (Ron) of Osgoode. Proud "Nanny" of 5 granddaughters: Amy Blais, Amber Blais (Xavier Tremblay), Ashley and Andria Sears and Shayna Wayte as well as 4 great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Quentin, Lilly and Sabrina. Janice is also survived by her 2 brothers: Gary Dagenais (Beth) of London, Ontario and Harold Dagenais (Mary-Lou) of Mansfield, Ontario; 3 sisters: June Gauthier (Gerald) of Otter Lake, P. Q.; Muriel Dodd (Ron) of Pakenham and Gail Chabot of Arnprior. Special sister-in-law of Carmen Dagenais of Kingston. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews friends and former co-workers. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. and where a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow. In memory of Janice, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by her family.
