Dear Phyllis and family I heard about your Mom's passing but I didn't know how to contact you until I came across this site. My Mom passed as well, on June 17th. It appears that they were walking the same path, from Aylmer Arms to different residences. Mom was 97 and still had quick wit and a great sense of humour. She made it clear that she was ready to go. Although her final years were quite difficult, she went peacefully, surrounded by love. We are fortunate to have had our Moms for as long as we did, however, it's very difficult to comprehend that we'll never see them again. Mom is at St Paul's cemetery. With perseverance, I finally managed to have her monument installed last week. I trust that this finds you healthy and doing as well as can be, considering what you are going through.
