THOMPSON, John Peacefully in hospital at Ottawa while surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday morning, September 24th, 2008. John Owen Thompson of Arnprior at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Linda (Nee Gervais). Dearly loved father of Brent Thompson and his wife Bonnie of Stittsville. Loved grandfather of Katherine. Dear brother of Bertha Laframboise of Buckingham. Brother-in-law of Lucy Sarazin and Guy "Bud" Barrett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by 4 brothers: Raymond, Clifford, Theodore and Stanley as well as 4 sisters: Irene Kehoe, Shirley Goudie, Agnes Tremblay and Viola "Vi" Barrett. A private family graveside service will take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
