SEABERT, Maurice (Retired Union Carbide) (Veteran WWII) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Tuesday morning, November 25th, 2008. Maurice Vincent Seabert of Arnprior at the age of 84 years. Dear son of the late Joseph and Reina Seabert. Beloved husband and best friend for almost 60 years of Miriam (Nee McKay). Dearly loved father of Valerie Strike (Gary) of Carleton Place. Dear brother of Gladys Sprayson (Dennis) of North York, Doris Hoe (Grant) of Edmonton and Joyce Damjanoff (late Bob) of Barrie. Special brother-in-law of Mildred Blumberg of California and Gladys Brown (Richard) of Sault Ste. Marie. Treasured grandfather of Shannon (Chantelle), Benjamin, Robert and Stacey and very proud great-grandfather of Sierra and Hayden. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:45 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, November 28th at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital "Partners in Caring" Campaign would be appreciated by the family. Members of RCL Branch 174, Arnprior will gather at the funeral home for a tribute service on Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m.
