Gerry & Mary - I just heard about your John. Our thoughts & prayers go out to you and your family. This will be one of the most difficult times in your life and let prayers of those who know you, and who don't know you, be with you and try to comfort you. One of the girls I work with went to school here in Cornwall with John, and because Arnprior came up when she was on Facebook, she brought it to my attention. May God help you through this tragedy. Gerry, Mary and Anne Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all as you deal with the tragic loss of your dear son and brother. We have good memories of John when we attended Sheila/s wedding many years ago. John was a dashing young lad of 17 and naturally Brian and Michael were very impressed as he drove a convertible at that time. I also had the privilege of meeting his lovely wife Joanne and his two beautiful daughts in 2004 when I attended Eileen/s funeral. Please give them our love and sympathy. I will call you one day soon when the grief and sorrow you now feel has softened somewhat, although I am not sure that will happen soon. Please know that we are with you in spirit and love today as you bury your beautiful son, brother, husband to Joanne and father to his two little daughters. Kevin, Joan, Brian and Michael Murphy.

Dear Joanne, It was with a broken heart and tears that Nat awoke me in the morning to tell me of the sad event. We are all stunned and grieving for you and the girls and your families. I did not have the opportunity to know John, but I know you, and you always are happy and smiling, which indicates a good home life. The first thing I asked Nat was if Joanne knows the Lord and she said yes. I was so glad because we know that the Lord will get us through times like these. Know that our hearts are with you and that we are praying for you all. I know you have a large family to take care of you, but if you ever want anything Natasha and I can provide, please call. Your wonderful memories of your John will remain with you always. God Bless! Affectionately, Deanna

Joanne, Ashley, Brittney, Mary, Gerry, Anne, Perry and Amanda and extended families Together with so many in Arnprior, I am writing this message with the heaviest of hearts and in total shock. I am so sorry for what you are all going through and so sorry for John. As I speak with different people "on the street" the sentiment is the same....why John? I ask some of the people around his age...."were you a friend of John?"......the answer is always the same..."who wasn't?". I didn't know John all that well but I noticed his enthusiasm for life, his hardworking "salesman" ethics...(seems to run in the family), his love and respect for his parents and his total love for his wife Joanne and his beautiful daughters. I can only imagine that he was a dad that played with the girls until they were tired! Please know that I am thinking of you all and will remember you, and John, in my prayers. If there is anything I can do...please don't hesitate to call..... Sincerely, Charlotte
