It's with deep sadness that we learned of Steve's passing. Although it's been some years since we've spoken, our foundness for Steve has always remained. To those closest to Steve (Holly & Family) - you are most fortunate to have shared your life with such a great person. Remember to celebrate his life, as he had so much to give. Til we meet again big brother. Love you forever!

To his wife Holly and her family I extend my deepest sympathy. To my nephew and my sister always remember how lucky you are to have had him in your life. I have such fond memories of him - watching him sit outside after working at Sears having a few brewskis with my mom and dad in the summer hearing him laugh and tell jokes; dancing with me at my sister's wedding on my 16th birthday; to the goofy baseball team "Dodgers" may they live on!!!! I will always remember him as a "big brother".

I would like to express my deepest heartfelt sympathy to Steve's wife, Holly and his family and his Brother Paul Hurl. I am a friend and colleague of Paul and over the past year I've heard through Paul how difficult Steve's life has been as he struggled with his illness. Steve will be dearly missed by his loved ones as he seems to have touched many people during his short life on earth.
