Obituary of Claire Hubbard

HUBBARD, Claire Peacefully went home to be with her Lord while vacationing in Florida with her loving family on Thursday afternoon, January 15th, 2009. Claire Hubbard of RR#2, Arnprior at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Gustave DeFoy and the late Magna Darveau. Beloved and devoted wife of the late John Hubbard (May 8th, 2001). Dearly loved and cherished mother of Johanna Lauzon and her husband Ken of RR#2, Arnprior. Proud and doting "Nanny" of Christopher (Rachel) and Jennifer (Keith) and great -"Nanny"of Willow, Cohen and Grayson. Dear sister of Gemma (late Marcel Lefebvre), Carmel (late Donat Turgeon), Ursule (late Pierre Martin), Annette (late Armand Desfosses), Antonine (Lubin Quesnel), late Georges DeFoy (Pauline), late Jean DeFoy (Armande) and late Michel DeFoy (Suzanne). Claire will be long remembered for her spunk, her zest for life, her outgoing friendliness and most of all her unwavering faith in God. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday, January 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Service in celebration of Claire's life will be conducted in Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church, 116 Baskin Drive West, Arnprior on Wednesday, January 28 at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow alongside her beloved John at the Malloch Road Cemetery. For those wishing, a donation made to the Partners in caring at the Arnprior District & Memorial hospital would be appreciated by Claire's family.
