Dear Richardson Family: Please accept my late condolences on Gail's passing. I remember her from many years of school, along with her sense of humour and that grin! The photo still shows that same girl I remember from school, except her hair is much shorter than it always was thru school. I understand that Gail was sick, from reading some messages, and I know that you will take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. I lost my father this past August and knowing that he is no longer in pain is one of the things that make it just a little bit acceptable. Please take care of each other and always remember the wonderful times that I'm sure you shared as a family. Sincerely, Melanie Griese-Hanniman

Lison, Mr & Mrs Richardson: Gail and I met working for DND in 1989 and quickly became good friends for years after. I remember spending many days skiing with Gail while we were both members of the Forces of Ottawa Ski Club, before moving away. We used to have so much fun together. I loved her laugh and think of her often. I wish you all my deepest heartfelt sympathies during this time. Marianna

Dear Eileen, Neil and Leah, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gail. I was just sitting at my table and reading the Renfrew News and I am in shock. This brought me so much pain and tears to read about her. All I can think about is our school bus ride home and how we always had so much to talk about and so many laughs. She was such a wonderful person and was always smiling no matter what. Will never forget her. Love Janet Robertson

To all of Gail's family and close friends I pass along sincere condolences. I have very fond memories of Gail when she was a ski patroller at Calabogie Peaks many years ago. Only recently, we dug through some old photos and found a picture of the ski patrol team and of course Gail is one of the shining faces in the group. Shy in most circumstances, Gail was an outstanding first aid provider and was well respected by her ski patrol colleagues. Her gentle laugh and sweet disposition always brightened the patrols day. She will undoubtedly be missed as we have missed her on the patrol over the years.

I first met Gail at Algonquin College where we attend the drafting program. She always had a smile and a good wit about her. I was privileged to get to work with Gail at NDHQ in Ottawa and then while at ATESS in Trenton coordinating the achiving of drawings into NDHQ. I was sadden to learn of Gail's passing. The world is a lessor place without her. Heaven has a new angel. To Gail's family and friends my God's hand rest on your shoulder and help you during these trying days to come.
