Obituary of Thomas Andrews

ANDREWS, Thomas Grant "Andy" (WWII Veteran - RCAF Captain) (1922 - 2009) Peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in the early morning surrounded by family. Thomas Grant "Andy" Andrews of Arnprior at the age of 86 years. Survived by his wife Anne Marie (nee Ebbesen) and his children: Nancy Fairchild (late Richard), Oluf Andrews (Su Soloway), Karen Kelland (Bob) and Thomas Andrews. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents and siblings. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior, on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 1 p.m. Saturday. A service to celebrate Andy's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday afternoon, February 28th at 2 o'clock. A special thank you to Dr. John Kiskis for his compassion and care. For those wishing, a donation to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign or Christie Lake Kids would be appreciated by the Andrews family. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for a tribute service on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.
