CARTY, Joan Peacefully in hospital at Ottawa on Monday morning, March 30th, 2009. Joan Elizabeth Carty of Fitzroy Harbour at the age of 74 years. Daughter of the late John and Rita Villeneuve. Beloved wife of Greg. Dearly loved mother of Jack of Ottawa, Michael of Vancouver, Pat (Carolyn) of Luskville, P.Q., Linda Hopkin (Neil) of Surrey, B.C., Debbie Lunney (Jim) of Fitzroy Harbour and Cindy McKay (Terry) of Bristol, P.Q. Cherished grandmother of 12. Dear sister of Jerry Villeneuve (late Hazel), John Villeneuve, Connie Flynn (Jack), Diane Barr, Marie Jennings (late Harvey), Marion Brulé and Anne Watkins (Don). Predeceased by a brother, Bob Villeneuve and 2 sisters: Cathy Lewis and Gail St. Jacques. Friends may join us for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. Michael's Church, Fitzroy Harbour on Wednesday morning, April 15th at 11 o'clock. Interment parish cemetery.
