Obituary of René Granger

GRANGER, René (Retired AECL) Suddenly but peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Thursday morning, June 4th, 2009. René Raoul Joseph Granger of Ottawa at the age of 86 years…just 4 days before his 87th birthday. Beloved husband of Margaret Rose Leeck. Dearly loved father of Mary-Jane Lathem (Brian) and stepfather of David Leeck (Blanka) and Dennis Leeck (Joanne). Proud grandfather of Erika, Renée and Lauren and step-grandfather of Matthew, Stephen and Crystal. Also survived by 5 sisters. A private family visitation and funeral service were conducted at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday afternoon, June 7th. Cremation followed. Interment will take place at St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke at a later date. In remembrance, a donation made to Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
