Obituary of Gerald Nugent

NUGENT, Gerald In hospital at Arnprior on Saturday evening, July 11th, 2009 following a brief illness. James Gerald Nugent of Pakenham at the age of 90 years. Dear son of the late John Joseph Nugent and the late Elizabeth Levi. Beloved husband of the late Anna Marie Tims (September 26th, 1998). Dear brother of Bernadette McVean (late Howard), Rose Coady (late Raymond) and Loretto Syme (late Orville) all of Almonte and Teresa Johnston (late Hank) of Ottawa. Dear brother-in-law of Margaret Brown. Predeceased by his only brother, Tom (late Myrtle) as well as a sister, Kathleen O'Donnell (late Wilfrid). Gerald will be sadly missed by his very best friend, Theresa "Terry" Kelly of Pakenham. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Peter Celestine Church, Pakenham on Thursday morning, July 16th at 10:30. Interment will then take place beside his beloved Marie at the St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery, Indian Hill. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign or the St. Peter Celestine Church would be appreciated.
