Ian, Lynda & Mike We were shocked to hear of Katie's passing when we returned from our holidays. Words can not ease the pain of what you are going through, but you will always have her memories to keep a smile on your face. Katie was a beautiful girl who loved her family and her animals. It is a tragic loss that such an outgoing person has to be taken from us at such a young age, but her memories will live on. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me. I know you will need your time alone, but if you need a shoulder to cry on I can be there, just call or e-mail. You take care of yourselves. Our deepest sympathies Colleen & Rick

Lynda, Ian and Mike: Please know that mine and Kevin's thoughts have been with your family since first reading the news of Katie's death in the paper: it is simply beyond comprehension, to lose one so young, vital and in full swing of life... I recall intended words of comfort from a Minister, once spoken to a mother I know who was suffering from the blow of life's journey now faced without her child, and I hope you don't mind if I place them here, loosely remembered: When you get up in the morning and put your foot down from the bed and onto the floor; when you take that first heavy step, then another, then another, putting one foot blindly and achingly ahead of the other; when you begin the tasks of the day even though tremendously laboured and weighted down, one painful breath at a time; when you must stop yet again to pour-out tears that overflow... whether you know it or not and whether you feel it or not: you are healing. Kevin and Darlene

Dear Ian, Linda and family; We cannot adequately express how sorry we are for the loss of your beloved daughter, sister, grand-daughter, and great friend to many, including our beloved pets and animals. Jacob and I had not had the pleasure of meeting Katrina, and will always regret not having been introduced, not only to an extended member of our family but to someone who was obviously a wonderful individual, loved by all who knew her. Please accept our deepest condolences, try to find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of her, and be assured we will send loving thoughts your way. We are so, so sorry for what you are going through. If I can ever do anything to ease your burden, please call anytime. 416-452-0405. Sincerely, Wayne Dagenais & Jake

Ian, Lynda & Mike, Words cannot express how so very sorry I am for your loss. I can't imagine what you all are going through. A friend shared this poem with me and I hope you can take some comfort in reading it. Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush. I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die. Unknown Author

From what Mr. McKeen (Northwind wireless) told me, she was a loving and caring person for all life in general. With these qualities, It's sad to say that maybe God needed her more with him than on the planet with us. God Bless the Fraser family

I was really sad to hear that Katie had passed away suddenly. I was not one of her closest friends but I cherished the time I spent with her. She was a very intelligent, captivating person with a great sense of humor. She was always kind and willing to help. After many experiences together, I can honestly say that she was one of the few people who I legitimately respected. She was always "to the point," and was very straight with you. I appreciated her personality and regret not getting to know her better. When I first bought my "macbook," she offered to come over and set things up for me. Unfortunately, we never got together that time and we never made plans despite being fellow "Prior-gals" living in Guelph. I will always remember her as a very musically talented fellow band mate and I will always remember how motivated she was. She made grade 12 law class worth going to and her bright mind will not be forgotten. My condolences go out to Allan, her friends and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
