Obituary of Dennis Battiston

BATTISTON, Dennis "Benny" (Retired - Boeing, Canada) Suddenly but peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27th, 2009. Denis Joseph Battiston of Braeside at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Leona Ann Deneault. Dearly loved and devoted father of Michael Battiston (Tina MacLaren) and Tony Battiston, both of Braeside and Lisa Barr (Jimmy Brydges) of Arnprior. Cherished grandfather of Luke and Colborne. Dear brother of Delia Littlefair of Windsor. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Lee, Roland and Ezio Battiston as well as a sister, Velma Mauro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Tuesday morning, September 29th at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow with interment to take place at St. Alexander's Parish Cemetery, Sand Point at a later date. For those wishing, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by the family.
