Obituary of Lloyd George Hunter

HUNTER, Lloyd (Retired AECL, Chalk River) (Veteran WW II - RCEME) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Monday morning, June 6th, 2005. Lloyd George Hunter of Arnprior; formerly of Petawawa at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Alice (Nee McMunn). Dearly loved father of Dick Hunter (and his wife Chris) of R.R.# 2, Arnprior and Pat Dupuis (and her husband Bill) of Nepean. Cherished "Grampa� of Andrew Dupuis of Taiwan, Catherine Evans (Mark) of Burlington, Carlos Hunter and Emily Hunter, both of R.R.# 2, Arnprior. Dear brother of Stan (Sheila) of Goshen and Fred (Denise) of Sheenboro, P.Q. Predeceased by a brother, Jack Hunter. Special uncle of 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Friends may join us for visitation at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Funeral Service will be conducted in Emmanuel Anglican Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, June 9th at 11 o�clock. Rev. Linda Hill officiating. Cremation will follow with final interment to take place at Petawawa at a later date. In memory of Lloyd, a donation made to the Primates World Relief or the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital (Chronic Care) would be appreciated by his family. Members of the RCL, Branch 174, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for a tribute service to take place on Wednesday evening at 6:30.
