Obituary of Colombe Desjardins

DESJARDINS, Colombe Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior with loved ones by her side on Saturday morning, December 26th, 2009. Colombe Pamela Desjardins (Nee St. Denis) at the age of 90 years. Dear daughter of the late Philippe St. Denis and the late Eugénie Brunet. Beloved wife of the late Laurier Desjardins (February 7, 1975). Dearly loved mother of Irene Smith (Bill), Dorcas Morphy (Allan) and Denis Desjardins (Maxine), all of Arnprior. Dear sister of Madelaine Montgomery (Bob) of Arnprior and Jean Charbonneau (Don) of Kanata. Predeceased by 4 brothers: Royal, Philippe Jr., Romeo and Maurice St. Denis as well as 4 sisters: Rita Blais, Jeanne-Mance Goulet, Annette Payer and Cécile St. Denis. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 12. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, December 29th at 11 o'clock. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In memoriam, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior would be greatly appreciated by the family.
