Obituary of William Hobbs

HOBBS, William Suddenly at home on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009. William Bernard Hobbs of Arnprior; formerly of Woodlawn at the age of 49 years. Dear son of the late Stirling Hobbs and the late Frances Kavanagh. Dearly loved father of Krista Heins (Rees) of Barrhaven and Dayna Hobbs of Arnprior. Proud "Grampa" of Ava. Dear brother of Lisa Wilson (Randy) of Woodlawn and Wendy Kenney (Dave) of Ottawa. Predeceased by his brother, Robert (Julie Hobbs of Ottawa). Former husband of Cindy (Nee Herrick) of Arnprior. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday. A Service to celebrate William's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Monday morning, January 4th, 2010 at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow. In memory of William, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by his family.
