Obituary of Kenyon MacDonald

MacDONALD, Ken Peacefully and with great dignity in hospital, Arnprior while surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday evening, January 12th, 2010. Kenyon Lawrence "Ken" MacDonald of Arnprior; formerly of Ottawa at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband and best friend for over 52 years of Rose Mary (nee McNulty). Dearly loved and proud father of Kenneth (Cristina) of Arnprior; Mary Nichols (Glen Dagley) of Kanata; Cathy Lacroix (Michel) and Bonnie MacDonald (Terry Pincombe), both of Ottawa and Wanda Paquette (Phil) of Petawawa. Dear brother of Cyril ( Eleanor) of Renfrew; Cameron (Ruby) and Muriel Cornwall (late Joe), both of Ottawa; Vincent (Marcella) of Calabogie; Alexander (Pauline) of Toronto; Janet McMillan (late Archie) and Kathrina Miller (late George), both of Cornwall. Predeceased by 5 brothers: Lloyd, Gordon, Arnold, John and Donald as well as 3 sisters: Maude MacDonald, Margaret Fisher and Celia Labelle. Cherished "Poppa" of Shaun, Colleen, Jason, Kayla, Joshua, Mandi, Krystal, Autumn, Kenyon, Shyanne, Sarah, Morgan, Paige, Broady and Rebecca. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday morning, January 16th at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Ken, a donation to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by the family.
