Obituary of William Reid

REID, William "Bill" Peacefully in hospital, Arnprior while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday morning, June 29th, 2010. William David Cooper "Bill" Reid of Arnprior at the age of 82 years. Dear son of the late William Reid and the late Julia May Cooper. Beloved and devoted husband for over 55 years of Irene (Nee Michaud). Dearly loved father of Robert "Bob" Reid (Geraldine Dumouchelle) of Aylmer, Quebec and Jennifer Reid of Farmington, Maine. Cherished grandfather of Kate, Margaret, Emily, Allison and William. Bill was a long time employee of M. Sullivan and Son, Arnprior; past President of the Cape Breton Construction Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Construction Association. Friends may join us for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday morning, July 3rd at 11 o'clock. Interment Albert Street Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Church meeting room. In memory of Bill, a donation made to the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" campaign would be appreciated by his family.
