PETTIT, Rod (Canadian Forces 1964 - 1976) (Boeing, Arnprior 1977 - 2001) Suddenly at home, Galetta on Monday, June 28th, 2010. Rodney Maton Pettit of Galetta at the age of 66 years. Dear son of Janet Pettit (Nee Hodgett) of Nottingham, England and the late Squadron Leader Denis Oswald Pettit (Veteran WW II). Loved father of Cyrena Pettit of Haley Station and Denise Pettit (Tim Landry) of Fort Coulonge, P.Q. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday evening, July 6th from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. and where a service in celebration of Rod's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 8 o c'clock. Rev. Brian Barr officiating. Cremation will follow. For those wishing, a donation made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his daughters. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174, Arnprior are requested to assemble at the funeral home for a tribute service on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
