Dear Holly and Ray: So sorry to hear of your loss. I had the window bed in the same room as Rita for 8 days in June. Although I only knew Rita for a very short time, I was so impressed with her courage although she was often uncomfortable and in pain. I would have liked to have known Rita under different circumstances. She was a kind and loving person and thought the world of her family especially Brendan. Sometimes in this life you meet someone who you have an instant rapport with and look up to, this certainly was the case with Rita. I often thought of her when I left the hospital and hoped she would have more time but it was not to be. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Rita's family,especially to Holly,who we are sad to say we have never met. Rita was a childhood friend who lived just down the road from us.We all grew up in Bear River,PEI.We will always remember with fondness and laughter the great times we spent together.Although our lives in later years were separated by distance and living busy lives,when we would get together we often recounted all the fun times we had and we can't think of a time Rita did not have a smile on her face. Those memories will last forever.Our hearts go out to you Holly and Family. Remembering Rita,with sad hearts we say goodbye from "The Roberts Girls"from Bear River. Vera,Cauline,Noreen,Dianne,Sheila and Myrtle. Rest in Peace
