Obituary of Shirley Hyland

HYLAND, Shirley (Nee Hogan) Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Tuesday morning, December 28th, 2010. Shirley Margaret Hyland of Arnprior at the age of 77 years. Daughter of the late Emmett and Elizabeth Hogan. Beloved wife of the late Gary Hyland. Dearly loved mother of Julie Stashick (Brian), Jill Breton (Jean) and Jeff Hyland, all of Arnprior. Cherished "Nanny" of Brandon and Brianne McCallum, Matthew, Michael and Emily Stashick and "Great-Grandma" of Ryder McCallum. Dear sister of Marjorie Desarmia (late Martin) of Carleton Place, Evelyn McClymont (late Donald) of Carp and Berverley Bayliss (Roy) of Edmonton. Predeceased by 5 brothers: Bill (Goldie of Arnprior), Milton (Shirley of Arnprior), Leo "Buddy", Gerry (late Reta) and Donald as well as 1 sister: Mary "Cis" Clarke (late Keith). Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Friday. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, December 31st at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, a donation made to the Easter Seals, The Children's Wish Foundation or Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew would be appreciated by the family.
