Obituary of Harold Leitch

LEITCH, Harold (Braeside Postmaster) Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital while surrounded by loved ones on Sunday evening, January 2nd, 2011. Harold Lester Leitch; a lifelong resident of Braeside at the age of 56 years. Dear son of Charlotte Leitch (Nee Fairfield) of The Arnprior Villa and of the late Mervyn Leitch. Beloved and devoted husband of Nancy (Nee Nesbitt). Dearly loved and proud father of Samantha and Thomas, both at home. Loved brother of Linda Dazé (late Bill) of Braeside. Predeceased by his only brother, Jimmy. Special brother-in-law of Audrey Jamieson of Arnprior. Dear son-in-law of Jimmy Nesbitt (late Lillian) of Renfrew and brother-in-law of Allan Nesbitt (Rachel) of Hartland, N.B.; Jane Nesbitt (Harry Curry) and Bill Nesbitt (Beatrice), both of Renfrew. Fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:45 a.m. Thursday. A Service in celebration of Harold's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning, January 6th at 11 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. Richard Hollingsworth officiating. Cremation will follow with spring interment at the Sand Point Public Cemetery. In memory of Harold, a donation made to the Braeside United Church or the Arnprior Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
