I had the great privilege of visiting Gwen recently, along with her daughter (my best friend), Beverley Evans-Cowie, from February 3 to 6, 2011. One of my favorite memories of this visit was standing next to Gwen as she sat in her chair in the living room and massaging her forehead and hair, and calling her "beautiful Gwen." This was a very peaceful and soothing time for me to spend with Gwen while she still knew who I was.
