Obituary of Gweneth Evans

EVANS, Gwen (Nee Wamsley) Peacefully at home while surrounded by loved ones on Thursday morning, February 17th, 2011. Gweneth Mary Evans of Arnprior at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Vince Evans (April 16, 2010). Dearly loved mother of Sue Galipeau (Graham) of Qualicum Beach, B.C.; Beverley Evans-Cowie (Ian) of St. Albert, Alberta and Karen Evans (Laine Hepburn) of Parksville, B.C. Also survived by Vince's long lost son, Derrick Evans (Brenda) of Gargrave, England. Gwen was predeceased by her only brother, David Wamsley (Pauline of England). Cherished and proud grandmother of Gregory (Kathryn), Shelley, Jason, Lyndsay, Ian and Cali and great-grandmother of Levi. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Wednesday afternoon, February 23rd from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. A Service in celebration of Gwen's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 4 o'clock. Cremation will follow. In memory of Gwen, a donation made to the Elgin Street Baptist Church or the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital Partners in Caring Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
