I will never forget how quickly Carl (and Margaret) came to our aid during the start up of our Navy League Cadet Corps. He gave unselfishly of his time including the many commutes to Carleton Place. We feel for your loss. from the first Commanding Officer of NLCC Carlplace

Dear Margaret and family, I would like to extend my sincere condolences for the loss of your dear Carl. He will be fondly remembered for his passion, dedication and commitment to the neighbourhood house league soccer program. As a volunteer coach with his unique style, he contributed to the betterment of the community and brought joy to so many children and their families. I still proudly display an 8 x 10 colour photo that Carl photographed and printed at the Britannia U6 mini field about 10 years ago. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind.
