TONER, Sterling (Grade 3 student - A.J Charbonneau School) Peacefully, in the comfort of his own home with loved ones nearby in the early morning hours of Friday, May 27th, 2011. Sterling Evan Toner of Braeside at the age of 8 years. Beloved son of Greg and Leslie of Braeside. Adored little brother of Cassandra. Cherished grandson of Willie and Marlene Toner of Sand Point and Pete and Judy MacLean of Braeside. Dearly loved nephew of Cathy and Greg Scharff and Rob and Treena Toner, all of Braeside. Special cousin of Mallory, Max and Madison Toner. Sterling will be long remembered for the courageous manner in which he faced his illness. Always positive with an amazing outlook, he never gave up. He loved the simple things in life: his family, the outdoors, nature and most of all, life itself. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Service in celebration of Sterling's life will be conducted in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, May 31st at 11 o'clock. Rev. Milton Fraser officiating. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Sterling, a donation the Ronald McDonald House or the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation (Candlelighters Canada) would be appreciated by his family.
